Gillies House

Gillies House is Prestige HCA's first supported independent living home. It is a, with one housemate living there now and an all-female staff team who have been with the house from the start. Gillies House is a home for women, and we are looking for one more female housemate.

What makes it home rather than a facility: your own room set up your way, meals you help choose and cook, house meetings where decisions are made together, and a backyard that gets used. The house runs on routines that meet the NDIS SIL Practice Standards, so families and coordinators get regular, plain updates.

Who the home suits

A woman who enjoys a calm, routine-based home, is comfortable sharing with one other woman, and would benefit from support with daily living, cooking and getting out into the community. Gillies House has a female-only support team. Compatibility with the current housemate is the first consideration.

Support in the home

Staff are rostered at 1:1 or 1:2 day · staff on site overnight. Housemates get help with personal care, cooking, medication, appointments and getting out to work, Group Activities or community activities. Each person has their own support plan and a regular review with their key worker.
